Follow these steps to activate your agent mobile property search application.
Mobile technology has come a long way(How many agents carried around “the brick” back in the late 80′s?). Now with the advent of smartphones and tablet devices, buyers and sellers have become much more savvy in their search for information, especially when it comes to home prices and availability of inventory.
Recently, KW launched it’s agent mobile property search app, which, once activated and installed, allows your clients to search YOUR website for listings straight from their mobile device. If you have not activated your mobile app, here are step-by-step instructions.
- Prior to launching your mobile property search app, you MUST activate the Wolfnet IDX solution.
- Log into your KW account either by going to http://kw.com or http://mykw.kw.com.
- From the menu bar across the top of the landing page, you will see a menu item labeled “Technology”. Place your cursor over that item (Do not click).
- A drop-down menu will appear. The first selection is “Agent Websites.” Click that menu item.
- Click the link that says “Agent Website Administration Tool” in the text. (See image below)
- You will be taken to your Agent Website Administration landing page. Look on the left side menu for the item that says “Add Listings/IDX Search.” Click that item, and a drop-down menu will appear. Select menu item 4.5 “Mobile Property Search.” (See illustration below).
- Upon landing on the Mobile Property Search page. You will be asked to select your market center. Select “Santa Clarita”, then save the settings using the “save” button at the bottom of the page.
- You will then need to go back into the Mobile Property Page. From there, you can review your custom mobile app link, text code, agent code and QR code (Which will be needed for your clients to activate your mobile app on their site). See illustration below for an example.
Instructions for your clients to install and activate your KW Mobile Property Search App.
- Using their mobile device, your clients must first download the KW Mobile App (iPhone users go to App Store, Android users can download from Google Play). Just search “KW mobile app”.
- Once the app is installed, send them to your eAgentC website.
- Have them enter the activation code that is provided in your KW admin section under Mobile Property Search.
- Your clients may then begin their home search and save their favorite properties. All leads and inquiries will go directly to you.
